Trade Shows are an excellent opportunity for businesses to meet with consumers and display their recent work and future offerings. We’re straight off the heels of participating in our first trade show of the year, The International Product and Processing Expo. This forum presents information on industry topics such as environmental management, nutrition, physiology, pathology, processing and products, and avian diseases.

While we always have a blast learning about an array of companies and their contributions, one feature of trade shows that we love is the learning opportunities and summits that are often held at these events. That being said, ProMat 2015 will feature the Supply Chain Workforce Summit on March 25th and 26th at McCormick Place in Chicago. With the expected exponential growth of supply chain and logistics jobs in the coming years, the organizers of ProMat have found a constructive method to educate people on the skills and capabilities needed to keep pace with the increasing complexity of supply chains. This summit provides a chance to learn what leaders are already doing and how to adopt best practices.

As a company, Associated Beach and Coulson encourages all employees to participate in as many learning opportunities as possible. There is no limit to the amount of education that is beneficial for an individual to receive, and trade shows, conferences, and summits are all tremendous opportunities to gain this insight. We want to be well informed and ready for any obstacle that may arise as we are serving our customers. Also, trade shows and educational summits are a great way to get to know other professionals in the industry. We look forward to attending ProMat 2015 in March, and we hope to meet you there!
